JPMorgan fined €45m by German regulator for AML failings  
The Frankfurt-based subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co was handed a record fine by the German financial watchdog BaFin for systemic failures in submitting suspicious transaction reports on time between October 2021 and September 2022.  
 
Coinbase fined €21.5m by Irish Central Bank for AML breaches 
Ireland’s Central Bank fined Coinbase Europe €21.5m for AML breaches that occurred between April 2021 and April 2025. Failures in its transaction monitoring system resulted in over 30 million transactions not being properly monitored over a 12-month period.  

Eurojust coordinates crackdown against €300m credit card fraud network  
Eurojust’s “Operation Chargeback” led to 18 arrests across nine countries targeting a network accused of stealing over €300 million through credit card fraud.  

Victoria Gate Casino licence suspended over AML breaches
The UK Gambling Commission has suspended the licence of Victoria Gate Casino in Leeds following serious failures in governance and risk management related to AML and CTF controls. 

Prosecutors seize millions in assets from Cambodian cybercrime group
Authorities in Cambodia and Taiwan have seized millions of dollars in cash and assets from individuals linked to the “Prince Group” cyber-fraud network operating across Southeast Asia.
