Framework Design
The framework of courses is built into a structure based upon:
- Level of the course of study (Introductory, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert)
- Number of courses undertaken
- Background, experience, job role and career aspirations of the individual.
Individual Courses
Each course is a self-contained study of an aspect of AML. Designed to be completed in 1-1.5 hours of study and tested by end of course Knowledge Assessments, these courses are designed in groups to form certificates.

Advanced Certifications
Where a learner completes a group of certificates/courses they can be awarded
a higher level of certification, namely, an Advanced Certification:
- Advanced Certificate in AML – Where a learner completes the Certificate in AML (10 courses) and 20 further courses from the remaining 36 AML courses, they will be awarded the Advanced Certification in AML - Adv. Cert (AML) and a digital badge of Certified AML Professional.
- Advanced Certificate in AML Technology – Where a learner completes 3 of the Certificates in AML Technology, they will be awarded the Advanced Certification in AML Technology - Adv. Cert (AML Tech) and a digital badge of Certified AML Technology Professional.
