Australia’s expanded AML/CTF regime has taken effect, bringing parts of the real estate, legal, accounting and trust and company services sectors under AUSTRAC supervision for the first time.  

Binance restricts EU services after MiCA setback 
Binance has restricted services for European Union users after failing to secure authorisation under the bloc’s MiCA crypto regime.  

UK crypto firms face new capital and risk rules  
The FCA has set out final rules for the UK’s incoming cryptoasset regime, which will require firms to meet tougher standards on capital, risk management, operational resilience and consumer protection from October 2027.
