C-Suite AML Risk Management Programme

Summary

In the complex and high-stakes world of financial services, effective risk management is critical to organisational stability, regulatory compliance, and long-term success. While technological and procedural safeguards play a vital role, human factors often represent the most significant and unpredictable risk element. This course explores the importance of understanding and addressing human behaviour in financial risk management, especially from a leadership perspective.

Human factors encompass a range of cognitive, emotional, and social behaviours that influence decision-making, judgement, and actions.

The course examines these human-related risks that impact decision-making, and how leadership shapes risk behaviour using human risk management tools. In addition, a number of real-life case studies are examined and evaluated, together with lessons to be learned and applied going forward.

This course is one of several courses within the Professional Certificate in Risk Management. If you wish to achieve this award, you must complete this course along with all other mandatory courses in the associated learning plan.
