Senior Account Manager

Job Purpose

Reporting into the Director of Account Management, this individual will be responsible at an account level for a series of KYC360's most important and highest revenue customers, in addition to driving forward a number of strategic initiatives both within the account management function and across the wider organisation. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Quickly building strong, bilateral relationships between KYC360 and customer base
  • Ensuring the retention of annual revenue from these customers through active ‘defense’ work
  • Management of complex customer escalations in an objective, action orientated and transparent approach
  • Proactively identifying and executing on upsell, uplift, cross sell opportunities into customer base through the pairing of active discovery of the problems KYC360’s customers are trying to solve, with a detailed understanding of KYC360 tech stack plus upcoming product roadmap
  • Establishment of strong internal relationships with other functions within the organisation - i.e. product, sales, customer success, legal, finance to bring ‘whole system approach’ to Account Management
  • Working with D.O.A/M to deliver on key strategic initiatives within the function such as transitioning customers to long term contracts and from On Prem to Cloud software

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Ability to engage and quickly build relationships internally and externally
  • Present in an articulate and concise manner, from peers to C-suite audiences
  • Understanding of the considerations and trade offs of complex situations, with an ability to guide senior leadership through them
  • Be comfortable with context switching, managing competing priorities and switching between strategic initiatives and complex, detailed challenges
  • Demonstrable leadership skills
  • Promote and engender development of self and others in organisation
  • Takes full accountability and ownership of work
  • Comfortable taking on line management responsibilities
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle and risk areas within this lifecycle 

Previous Experience

  • Critical: Experience in dealing with C-suite level stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds across multiple industries such as banking, gaming, law, finance
  • Critical: Experience in account management/relationship manager role with a clear idea of what success in this role looks like
  • Critical: Experience in a tech focussed organisation (SaaS desirable, scale up desirable)
  • Desirable: Background in financial crime prevention/client onboarding with a network of contacts in this space
  • Desirable: Experience in customer retention and marketing initiatives
  • Desirable: Line management experience of multiple team members
